Burnham Norton St Margaret

Burnham NortonThis lovely church with its Norman Tower stands on a hilltop, half a mile from the village itself. The nave and aisle are largely Perpendicular in character whilst the chancel dates from the 14th century and is Decorated in style. The church contains many attractive features including : its arch braced roof, the rood screen and most importantly its heptagonal wineglass pulpit with six painted panels.

Only the East window contains stained glass comprising two beautiful art deco figures depicting St Margaret of Antioch & St Margaret of Scotland.
